It began as a spiritual sanctuary and evolved into a haven for international educators, scholars, and scientists who sought equality in communal living. The trip is perfect for those who want dive deeper into their meditation & pranayama practices while experiencing the transformative practice of community silence.

This retreat is your opportunity to remove all the distractions of every day life from your day giving you the opportunity to fully turn your awareness inward. While doing so, you will be guided through the practices known as the Four Divine Abodes (loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy & equanimity) with the intention to cultivate a more open heart & greater peace of mind throughout your time in silence. 


This retreat is held at the beautiful MacLeod Barn Abbey in historic New Harmony, IN. All participants will be given their own room equipped with a single (twin) bed, pillow, linens, chair, dresser, towels and wash cloths. There are four shared bathrooms in the facility that include two toilets, two sinks and one shower each.



We feel that good nutrition is key to finding harmony within. Therefore, for this retreat, we provide a flavorful and nourishing vegetarian menu for all participants to enjoy. All meals have gluten and dairy free options. When possible, additional dietary needs are accommodated to ensure an enjoyable culinary experience throughout the event.

Cancelation Policy

If you have been accepted into this retreat but are no longer able to attend, cancellations must be made in writing to Michelle or Ahna.

*$250 deposit is non-refundable, non-transferrable*

Balance must be paid no later than two weeks prior to the event.

*IMPORTANT: Balance payments not received by the deadline will result in the forfeiture of your space in the training.


No refunds or course transfers allowed if canceling within 30 days.


If the retreat is cancelled as the result of a decision made by Exalt Yoga, 100% refunds will be issued to all registered participants.
