Join Michelle live for functionally taught and mindfulness based Yin Yoga. In each class, she will guide you through an experience that will soothe your body and soul.

Winter 2021 Teaching Schedule

Express Yin Yoga

Tuesdays 12:00p-1:00p EST

This 60 minute class is just Yin Yoga with a little bit of mindfulness sprinkled in. That's it. Nothing fancy, but everything magical!

 

You're encouraged to fully embrace the beauty found within the simplicity of the life altering practice of Yin Yoga.

Yin Yoga & Beyond

Sundays 6:30p-8:00p EST

In this 90 minute class, you will experience a full Yin Yoga class plus some other energy enhancing practices such as pranayama (breath work), meditation, guided relaxation, etc. All of these practices are sure to help you close out your week with a sense of ease and relaxation.

All classes that are currently being offered are done so virtually, via Zoom. Teaching is catered to all levels of practitioner (beginner to experienced). For most classes the suggested props are:

a firm large pillow (or yoga bolster), two yoga blocks, a blanket and a couple scarves (or an 8' yoga strap)

At Exalt Yoga, we believe yoga should be available to people of all means. Therefore, all classes are offered on a sliding scale basis. Please choose the amount that makes the most sense for you. No questions. No judgement.

Acknowledgements

It is highly recommended that all Yin practitioners be at least 16 years of age and not have any recent injuries/surgeries. If you have experienced an injury or surgery within the past 12 weeks, a doctor's release is recommended prior to practicing Yin Yoga. 

While the teacher's instruction will be thorough and accessible, in the Zoom setting you are required to take 100% responsibility for your own practice always making choices that are best for your body. We encourage all students to lean towards less sensation allowing your body time to decide what it needs most then adjust accordingly.

While live attendance is preferred, for those who cannot participate at the time of the event, all classes will be recorded and available to view, via Zoom, for seven calendar days following the live event.
